I'm Back In Black
Hey y'all! Well, my last entry was 39 days ago, and well it's been a busy busy 39 days!
Let's start with band. Ah, yes! The infamous San Antonio 6 Flags feild trip. Symphonic band was the only ones who played though, concert and jazz didn't. Well, we ended up being the first band to perform, I was really nervous! We went onstage and sat down, we were in Judson Stadium (sp?), way different from the bandhall in somewhere called Pleasentton or Pleasentview or somewhere... Well anyway, we were in Judseon St. and warming up onstage for our preformance, Ms. G was making things worse as usual, saying that we weren't ready and making us feel bad. About 10 maybe 20 minutes passed and it was time to play.
Ms. G stood on the director's stand-thing and started us off; in my opinion, we did an awesome job, but as Ms. G finished and ended the program after the last song she had the nerve to say under her breath "That was horrible,"!!! I only saw 'cause I was still looking at her. Boy did I feel like crap after that...but wait! Symphonic band's ratings were----STRAIGHT 1'S and a trophy! Hmmm, didn't Ms. G say we were horrible?
Next major thing.....last week of school! I got my yearbook yesterday, and it's already filled up. Like there's nowhere else to write or anything! I still need people to sigh though, but it's okay if they don't. I know I'm going to cry on the last day of school! Almost everyone is leaving! Either to another school, or even another state...maybe both. My best-est friend Risa (8 yrs of BFFriendship) is leaving to Beta, or Med High, one of those smart people schools, my other friend Jeriel is going to Med High. Matt is leaving to somewhere and I won't even see him in band camp during the summer, and Yesenia is going back to Minnisota (sp?) and she might not come back. Lisa is going to Nikky(i) Row and Alexandra Lopez is going to Sharyland! Everyone is leaving and it sucks. But, maybe the ones that are still here in the city, we can get together and have a reunion during summer! Yeah, that'd be cool.
Hmmm, what else.... Nothing major has really happened... I passed all my TAKS tests (major, major tests) and I'm waiting for a post summer layout. Maybe I'll go orange for summer... I dunno, well sorry for the month wait!
